Gail R. Mosack, age, 72, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe, following a period of declining health. Gail was born February 20, 1939 in Richmond, Michigan, the daughter of the late Raymond & Dorothy (Chaffee) Lorf, and came to Caro with her parents as a young girl. On April 4, 1960, Gail was united in marriage with Conrad Mosack and the couple was blessed with six children. For many years, Gail was self-employed as a home care provider for the elderly. Gail has spent the last four years in Bad Axe, mostly at Courtney Manor as a resident, a place she called home. During her free time, she enjoyed word search puzzles, painting, cooking and canning. Surviving are her six children and their spouses, John & Deb Mosack of Bad Axe, Harry & Rainy Mosack of Gagetown, Mary & Randy Schember of Elkton, Al & Chris Mosack of Elkton, Joan & Arnold Osentoski of Ubly, Chuck & Tonia Mosack of Elkton; twenty-four grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Shirley Foster of Caro, Marlene Anger of Fairgrove, Judy & Lyle Anker of Cass City; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her step-father, John Gray; an infant sister, Linda Lee Lorf; one brother, Ron Lorf; and brothers-in-law, Dan Anger and Wesley Foster. The family wishes to express their appreciation for the love and care given to their mother by the staff at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe.
