Garrett Allen Brossoit, Sr.

Garrett Allen Brossoit, Sr. of Caro, age 43, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 5, 2020. Garrett was born December 16, 1976 in Garden City. He was first employed at the Lighthouse Rehabilitation Center in Caro and then went on to work in IT with the Tuscola County Court. Garrett also worked in security at the Caro Center and assisted with the Extended Hands Food Drive. Garrett was a very resourceful man with a big heart always putting others before himself and was always looking for ways to solve any situation. He was a man educated beyond books and meticulous to a fault. He was a member of the Colwood Church and the Caro Moose Lodge. Garrett is survived by three children, Garrett, Jr., Serenity "Monkey" and Samuel "Mister"; a child he raised as his own, Tyler Skinner; mother, Carol & Rick Kuck-Siira; father, Donald Kuck; siblings, Anita & Alton Baldwin, Theresa Phillips, Carl Kuck, Donald Kuck, Carolyn Holly Kuck and her fianc, Steven Blain, and Darlene & Mike Farley; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends that became like family. He was preceded in death by one sister, Lynn Kuck. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro.
