Garry R. Louis, age 72, of Gagetown and Bradenton, FL, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015.
Garry was born November 10, 1942, in Bay City, to the late Roland and Selma (Koch) Louis. He married Kathryn Nicholas on February 1, 1964, in Unionville. He retired in 1995 from Saginaw Steering Gear, enjoyed being a self-employed farmer until his retirement, wintering in Florida, gardening and walking.
Garry is survived by his wife, Kathryn; daughter, Laurie (Douglas) Larsen; granddaughter, Anna Larsen; brothers: Lynn (Carol) Louis and Kirk (Marilyn) Louis; brother-in-law's: Gerald (Olive) Nicholas, Richard Nicholas and Roger (Gloria) Nicholas; longtime friend, David Clapp; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-9pm.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, October, 21, 2015, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church (Bach). Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.
Burial will take place at Silverlawn Cemetery in Sebewaing.
Memorial donations may be given to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
