Gary Dean Endert

Gary Dean Endert of Caro, age 69, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022, at his home. Gary was born December 17, 1952, in Sandusky, the son of the late Harold and Oline (Fox) Endert. He attended Caro High School and went on to work at Nash-Finch in Bridgeport. After 30 dedicated years, Gary retired in 2004. On May 12, 1973, Gary married the love of his life, the former Roxanne Anthony. Together they shared forty-nine wonderful years of marriage, one beautiful daughter, and countless memories. Gary was a member of the Teamsters Union Local #337 and attended Calvary Chapel of Fellowship in Vassar. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching car racing on TV with his loving cat, Stella. Gary was an amazing woodworker, building many yard decorations and patio furniture. He was in his prime behind the grill cooking for his family and had a passion for making smoked jerky meat. Gary could always be found with a smile on his face and had a great sense of humor. He had the best stories, whether they were true or not that was up for debate. He never met a stranger and was always willing to give you the shirt off his back. Above all, Gary loved being around and spending time with his wife, daughter, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren, they were the lights of his life.
