Gary Dean Jacot

Gary Dean Jacot of Caro, age 83, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community in Caro. Gary was born April 29, 1938 in Silverwood, the son of the late Carmon Dean and Clara Josephine (Peet) Jacot. He served our country for a time in the National Guard. Gary absolutely loved and adored his bride of twenty-eight years, Sandra Anne Cottrell Jacot. They married on February 6, 1982 and were each other's rock and the light of each other's path until the day she passed away on November 13, 2010. Gary's other love in life was his dogs. In the years after his wife died, his dogs were what brought him joy. Gary is survived by his son, Gary Carmen Jacot; his step-children, Brenda Vandorne, Mike Spencer, Brian Spencer and Chris Spencer; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several cousins. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. In keeping with Gary's wishes, cremation has taken place. He will be laid to rest next to his wife in a private graveside service at Indianfields Township Cemetery at a later date.
