Gary W. Luttman, age 49, of Elkton died Friday, March 29, at Scheurer Hospital, Pigeon.
He was born July 20, 1952 to John and Vivian Luttman, in Detroit.
. Gary was a veteran of the US Air Force and had been stationed at the Port Austin Air Base serving in the 754 Airborne. He moved back to the area in 1975 after he was discharged from the service. Gary became a Machine Repairman at Active Industries in 1977, retiring in 2000 for health reasons.
On December 3, 1993 he was united in marriage to Linda McBride in Bad Axe.
He enjoyed the stock car races at Owendale Speedway and also loved to tease, especially his family.
Surviving are his wife, Linda; five sons, Dennis Luttman of Bad Axe, David and James Luttman of Port Austin, Tim and Josh McBride both of Elkton; his daughter, Jenny Luttman of Port Austin; three grandchildren, Dustin, Madison and Josie; his parents, John and Vivian Luttman of Oceanside, CA; three brothers, Jim (Mary) Luttman of Capac, Bob (Sigrid) Luttman of Fenton and Ron (Jan) Luttman of South Lyon.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 2, at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Elkton. Rev. Fr. Joseph Schabel will officiate with burial in St. Felix Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will take place on Monday, April 1, from 2 until 9 PM and after 10 AM Monday.
Memorials may be given to Scheurer Hospital.
