Gary G Pratt

Gary G Pratt age 72, of Elkton, died Monday afternoon, May 1, at Covenant Harrison, Saginaw following complications of multiple health problems.

He was born October 19, 1944 in Ferndale to the late Walter and Hazel (Nelson) Pratt. Gary moved to Huron County at the age of two with his family near Filion. Shortly after graduating from Bad Axe High School in 1963, he joined the US Navy and served in Vietnam.

He was united in marriage to Marlene J. Koroleski on August 14, 1971, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Dwight. Gary worked several places before starting his own business, Pratt Appliance Repair in 1985, which he continued to operate until several weeks ago.

Gary was a member of St Felix Catholic Church, Pinnebog, Pigeon VFW, Caseville Rod and Gun Club, Upper Thumb Traveling Trap League and USS Henley DD-762 Assn. (the ship he served on). Gary enjoyed shooting trap and visiting with family and friends.

Surviving are his wife, Marlene, two children, Mahalia (Felix Roman) Monday of Allendale and Chad (Alyse Kozfkay) Pratt of Caseville; grandchildren, Devin, Cody, Liara, Mason, Sawyer, Landon, Luca and Francesco; great granddaughter, Millie May; his sister, Gail (Danny) Kent of High Springs, FL; nephew, Shannon Ruff and sidekick, Ruby.

Gary’s wishes were there be no visitation or services and to just plant a tree somewhere in his memory.
