Gary Zacharias

Gary Zacharias, age 46 years, of Grant Street, Caro, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at his home. He was born on March 9, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Edward and Lois (Lynd) Zacharias. His family moved from Illinois to Orlando, Florida where he spent his youth and graduated high school. Gary and the former Alyssa Matuszak were married on November 12, 1996 at Defuniak Springs and lived there until moving to Dothan, Alabama. Gary was employed in the construction industry in Florida and worked as a cement mason in Alabama. Several months ago Gary and his family moved to Michigan and have resided here until his death. Gary loved the out-of-doors and enjoyed NASCAR and collecting models of race cars. He is survived by his wife, Alyssa; his children, Brandi Zacharias of Atlanta, Georgia and Gary
