Gay Arlene Henne, 81 of Caseville, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at From the Heart Assisted Living in Kawkawlin.
Born in Essexville on March 30, 1936, she was the daughter of Gaylon and Avis (Cosens) Willett and graduated from Bay City High School.
Gay was a quiet woman, and worked as a cook for many years. She was an avid reader, worked crossword puzzles, and enjoyed playing cards, especially solitaire. She also bowled for several years, enjoyed playing Bingo, and watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She especially enjoyed her pets.
She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Friedt and Machelle Henne, both of Caseville; grandchildren, Barbara Richardson, Michael Leonard Henne, and Alexander Friedt; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Gay was preceded in death by her son Michael Lee Henne; and brothers, Edward Willett and Richard Willett.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation at The Rivers Edge in Caseville will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2017, followed by a 3:00 p.m. memorial service with Pastor John Gunden officiating.
