Gazella Muska

Gazella “Ella” Muska, age 98, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility in Caro. She was born on September 29, 1913 in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of the late Joseph and Katalin (Ordog) Szaki, and moved to the Caro area as a young girl with her parents. She was employed as an attendant nurse for twenty-five years at the Caro Regional Center, retiring in 1974. Ella loved being with her family and cooking. She is survived by two sons, one daughter and their spouses, James J. & Mary Lee Muska of Caro, Gazella Jean & Roger Deering of Cass City, Gary Brian & Apthea Muska of Caro; fourteen grandchildren and several great- and great-great-grandchildren; five sisters, Julie Muska, Elizabeth Kovacs, Helen Koprince, Theresa Weinlander, Katie Kosto; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ella was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother, Mary Szaki, Rose Ando, Irene Vaughan and Joseph Szerda.
