Gena Marie Giddings

Gena Marie Giddings of Mayville and Vassar, age 45, passed away at Covenant - Cooper in Saginaw on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 4:20 p.m. Gena was born August 26, 1974 in Caro, the daughter of Denise (Burkel) Giddings and the late Douglas Patrick Giddings. She graduated from Caro High School with the class of 1993 and worked for many years at Trelleborg Automotive in Sandusky, retiring due to health concerns. In her spare time, Gena enjoyed being around children, crocheting, and playing with her dogs and cats. She was a loving person but was never afraid to speak her mind. Left to cherish Gena's memory are her mother and stepfather, Denise & Gary Hutchins of Clifford; sister, Krysta Schniers and her significant other, Daryl Damm, of Caro; niece, Alana Marie Damm of Caro; significant other, Billy Bob Baize of Mayville; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Gena was preceded in death by her brother and best friend, Jonathan Giddings; and stepfather, Gerard Schniers. The family will gather to celebrate Gena's life on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Caro.
