Genevieve Kehoe

Genevieve M. Kehoe, age 85, died on January 2, 2006. She was born in rural Gagetown on November 26, 1920, the daugher of the late Henry and Iza (Rocheleau) LaFave. Gen is survived by her children, Carol (Jack) Beith of Linden, Steven (Barbara) Kehoe of Brighton; grandchildren, Michael (Debra) Beith, Brian, Nicole and Justin Kehoe; great-granddaughter, Makenzie Lynn Beith; two sisters, Mrs. William (Elaine) Prieur of Alpena, Mrs. Wendell (Willa) Birch of Lehigh Acres, Florida; one brother, Harold (Norma) LaFave of Bay City, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Edward; and one sister, Helen Wright. The family wants to extend their deepest appreciation to all of the caregivers at Almost Home in Fenton and to all the family and friends who sent the many cards and good wishes during her illness. The memorial mass will be held at St. Agatha Catholic Church in Gagetown on Thursday, January 5, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Steve Fillion, officiating. Following cremation, burial will be at St. Agatha Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be at Collon Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Hemophilia of Michigan, Friends of the Octagon Barn or the Parkinsons Foundation.
