George H. Esler

George Henry Esler of Caro, age 57, passed away on the evening of Saturday, June 17, 2023 at McLaren Caro Region. He was born November 19, 1965 in Jersey City, New Jersey, the son of George H. and Joan B. (Maier) Esler. George graduated from Bayonne High School with the class of 1984 and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy until 1987. He had been a self-employed contractor, worked at Walmart from 2015 until May of 2022, and most recently was the assistant store manager at Marshalls. On April 8, 2010, George married the love of his life, the former Kristine Wade. Their marriage was blessed with over thirteen years and countless memories. In 2017, George received a Certificate of Ministry from the Assemblies of God and served as a youth pastor at Caro Assembly of God until 2019. In his free time, George enjoyed sim racing, building computers, and sewing. He was a huge foodie and loved to go on adventures. George always made sure to tend to his cats and fish and was an avid Star Wars and Marvel fan. Above all else, he loved his family. George will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
