George A. Squillace, 73, of Caseville, died Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon.
George was born June 28, 1944 in Detroit to the late George and Amelia (Trubiano) Squillace. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1962. He married Sandra Loesch October 4, 1997 in Warren. He retired from GM in Warren. In 2006 he moved from Chesterfield Twp to Caseville. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, reading Sci-fi, and bowling (he bowled several 300 games). He was member of UAW Local 909 and Caseville Rod & Gun Club.
He is survived by his wife Sandra; children Ginger Collins and G. Dominic (Joanie); step-children Mary Kristine (Jeff) Ferguson and J. Randy (Jen) Williams; grandchildren Chaz, Jessy, Jamey, Andrew, Emily, Lydia, Alex, Elaine, Mitchell; sister Clarice Squillace; brother-in-law Ron Loesch and sister-in-law Sharon Schildroth and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Frances Calvin.
Funeral services will be Noon Tuesday, April 17 th at Caseville United Methodist Church with Rev. Linda Fuller officiating. Visitation will be 3-8 Monday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Elkton.
