George Wiley Zsolzai

George Wiley Zsolzai of Caro, age 87, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community. He was born on March 14, 1939 in Pontiac, the son of the late George and Pauline (Pender) Zsolzai. George graduated from Lake Orion High School and went on to proudly service in the U.S. Army as a tank driver. He held various jobs over the years, including with the Oakland County Road Commission, at a funeral home, and in construction. George was truly a jack of all trades and would jump in wherever he was needed. He was an avid outdoors man and loved fishing and hunting. George will always be remembered for being fiercely loyal and a great friend.

George is survived by his children, Mark Zsolzai and Dawn Shrock; nephew, David (Pamela Zsolzai and his family. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his brother, Alan Zsolzai.

In keeping with George’s wishes, cremation has taken place with private services.
