Georgina Farver

Georgina Farver, age 79, of Pigeon, formerly of Caseville, died Monday, January 28, 2008 at Huron Medical Center in Bad Axe after a short illness.

Georgina was born in Huron County on December 7, 1928 to the late George and Mary (Stefuk) Danyluk. On October 9, 1949 she married William Farver in Bad Axe. William preceded her in death in 1989.

She was a member of the Pigeon First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing BINGO, traveling, having coffee with her friends at the coffee shop and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Georgina is survived by her sons Michael (Pamela) of Oak Beach, Patrick and William J. both of Pigeon; grandchildren Tonya, Timmy, Tenielle, Kara, Amy and Joslyn; and sisters Helen Bushey of Caseville and Ardeth (Gerald) Hansen of Harbor Beach.

She was preceded in death by her sister Ann Cottick.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 31st at the First United Methodist Church in Pigeon with Rev. John Britt officiating. Burial will be in Caseville Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-8 PM Wednesday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville and from 10 AM Thursday at the church.

Memorials may be made to the church.
