Gerald C. Fuller

Gerald "Jerry" Clayton Fuller, age 91, of Sebewaing, formerly of Elkton, Caro, Fairgrove and Pigeon, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe. Gerald was born August 21, 1920 in Richmond, MI to the late Hugh and Mabel (Flack) Fuller. After high school he served in the U.S. Army Air Corp from 1942-1945. He was stationed in Egypt and England. On January 8, 1949 he married Maida Ewald at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Elkton. Jerry loved traveling, spending time with his family, playing games, gardening, watching birds, watching his children and grandchildren play sports and watching professional sporting events. Gerald worked during his life in Banking and Real Estate. Jerry held many positions throughout his life including: Board of Directors and Treasurer at Bay Shore Camp, Board Member with Youth for Christ, Fairgrove Village Council for 27 years and the Board of Gideons. He also helped deliver Meals on Wheels in Pigeon, was a Paul-Harris Fellow with the Rotary Club of Akron-Fairgrove and Pigeon, the Parade Master for the Michigan Bean Festival and was a recent new member of the Sebewaing American Legion.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Maida of Sebewaing; his children, Dr. Dell (Holly) Fuller of Bozeman, Montana, Ronald (Karlene) Fuller of Coralville, Iowa, Nancy (Gary) Rohlfs of Whitmore Lake, MI, Paul (Debra) Fuller of Gagetown, MI, David (Marcia) Fuller of Belgrade, Montana and Timothy Fuller of Bozeman, Montana; grandchildren, Marcus, Meghan, Alison, Emily, Drew, Christina, Christopher, Jennifer, David, Andrea, Randi, Stefanie, Jacob, Paul, Jonathan and Claudia; and 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation is Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing, from 3-8pm.

Funeral is Monday, July 30, 2012 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will take place at 3pm on Monday at Riverside Cemetery, in Elkton.

Memorial donations may be given to Bay Shore Camp, The Gideons, Youth for Christ, and Trinity United Methodist Church.
