Gerald Hurshburger

Gerald Hurshburger of Bay City, age 80, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at McLaren - Bay Region in Bay City. Jerry was born August 6, 1938 in Cass City, the son of the late Gerald D. and Ada J. (Barrons) Hurshburger, and was a 1956 graduate of Caro High School. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army while stationed at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Jerry was united in marriage with the former Mavis Inman on September 21, 1967 in Bay City. He was a member of IBEW in Saginaw and worked as a journeyman electrician for more than thirty years. Jerry enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-one years, Mavis Hurshburger of Bay City; brother-in-law, Henry Inman of Lupton; sister-in-law, June Wilson of Bay City; and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Gerald's wishes, cremation has taken place. There are no services being planned at this time.
