Gerald "Jerry" Wonch

Gerald C. Wonch of Caro, age 75, passed away on Thursday January 9, 2014 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility in Caro. Jerry was born on February 25, 1938 in Detroit, the son of the late Clifford and Evelyn (Stevens) Wonch. Following graduation from high school, Jerry served in the U. S. Coast Guard and attended college. He was employed as an attendant nurse for the State of Michigan until the closing of the Howell facility. Jerry was a member of the Methodist faith. Jerry is survived by one brother and his wife, Thomas and Barbara Wonch of Linden; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Janice Williams of Caro. In accordance with Jerry's wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial with military honors will take place at a later date in the family plot. Service Information
