Gerald Wayne Zimmer

Gerald Wayne Zimmer, 79, of Pinnebog, died May 19, 2017 in Arcadia, Florida.

Jerry was born June 15, 1937 to the late Vern and Florence (Whitney) Zimmer in Huron County. He graduated from Elkton High School in 1955. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from GM in Flint, Plant #12. He enjoyed traveling, boating, Harley Davidsons and cars. He loved the Cheeseburger in Caseville festival and his pet ferrets.

He is survived by his sons John of Florida, Jeff (Tianna) of Clio and Joe of Ohio; grandsons Jacob and Cody; and the mother of his sons Janice (John) Nofziger of Alaska.

A celebration of his life will take place at the Zimmer Family home in Caseville on Saturday, August 12th at 2:00pm. Messages of condolence may be emailed to sillyhippy1975@gmail.com.
