Geraldine Dolores Krohn

Geraldine D. Krohn, 75, of Caseville and Elkton, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Rose Garden Assisted Living in Elkton.

Gerry was born July 31, 1946 in Huron County to the late Frederick and H. Joyce (Hunt) Schmidt. She lived in Elkton until moving in with her best friend Donna Madison in Caseville, and Donna’s family became her second family. She enjoyed going to garage sales and playing scratch-off lottery tickets. She adored her fur-baby Maggie.

Gerry is survived by her daughters Michelle Carter and Paula Krohn; grandchildren Adam, Emanuel, Charlene, Brenda, Yvonne, Yvette, and Linda; siblings Rosemary (Carl) Radabaugh, Fred (Marge) Schmidt and Irvin (Linda) Schmidt; best friend Donna Madison and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Dale Krohn in 2011, brothers William and Harry Schmidt and sister Margaret Burzyck.

Appreciation goes to the staff at Rose Garden for the care they gave her during her stay there.

Interment will be in Colfax Twp Cemetery at a later date. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
