Gertrude A. Atwell

Gertrude A Atwell age 76 of Kingston died Friday afternoon, September 18, at Covenant Cooper, Saginaw.

She was born February 6, 1939 in Rochester to the late John and Gertrude Kangas.
On May 10 1957, she was united in marriage to Orville D Atwell in Royal Oak.

Gertrude was a homemaker all her life, raising six children. She enjoyed reading, playing bingo and computer games, but especially loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Orville; six children, John (Terry) Atwell of Port Austin, Cheryl (Bill) Huntley of Hastings, Orville D Atwell of Kingston, Michael (Sherry) Atwell of Caro, Fredrick (Debbie) Atwell of Fostoria and William Atwell of Kingston; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a brother Allen (Pat) Kangas of Gaylord.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no public visitation or service at this time, a private graveside service is planned for later this fall.
