Gertrude Ann Middaugh, age 79, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at Covenant - Harrison in Saginaw. Gertrude was born August 28, 1928 in the Kingston area, the daughter of the late Henry & Mildred Fox and was a lifelong area resident. She was united in marriage to Frank C. Middaugh on August 30, 1946 in Gagetown. For approximately ten years, she was employed at the Provincial House in Cass City, retiring in 1990. Gertrudes life revolved around raising her children and caring for the family home. She also enjoyed camping, working outdoors in her garden and crocheting. Gertrude is survived by her loving husband of over sixty-one years, Frank Middaugh of Caro; nine children and their spouses, Margaret Spencer of Essexville, David & Jennifer Middaugh of Caro, twins, Derrill Middaugh of Caro, Merrill Middaugh of Oscoda, Barbara Pomeroy of Deford, Jerry Middaugh and his fiance, Lori Galbraith of Hemlock, Mary Ann & Mike Lucik of Caro, Edward Middaugh of Port Austin, Mark & Lisa Middaugh of Oscoda; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; four brothers and one sister, Paul Fox of Coleman, Fred Fox of Midland, Robert Fox of Caro, Carl Fox of Coleman, Joann Walters of Midland and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Gertrude was preceded in death by one son, Dale Middaugh in 1977, one grandson, Devin Seigo in 1998; one sister and one brother, Clarabell Barber and Edward Fox.
