Gladys Weidman

Gladys Weidman, age 96 of Sebewaing, passed away on October 12, 2015, at Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe. Gladys was born in Sebewaing on March 30, 1919, the daughter of the late August and Pearl (Gascho) Kurzer. She was united in marriage with Ervin William Weidman on October 6, 1940, in Sebewaing, who preceded her in death on February 25, 1983.

She is survived by her sons: Durain (Mary) Weidman of Marlette and Darold (Penny) Weidman of Vernon Hills, IL; five grandchildren: Darrin (Kristy) Weidman, Debbie (Tillman) Ross, Danelle (Kent) Fawcett, Dan (Remmie) Weidman and Dustin (Julianna) Weidman; ten great grandchildren; and two sisters: Orpha Bauer and Arlene (Glen) Faist.

Gladys was preceded in death by her brothers: Donald, Melvin and Delmer Kurzer; and sisters: Doris Sonntag, Della Sonntag and Virginia Brown.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Son's Life Missionary Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will be at the church at 10:00am, followed by the service at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bay Shore Camp in Sebewaing.
