Gordon Arthur Thomas

Gordon A. Thomas , age 77, of Pigeon, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021 at Schuerer Hospital in Pigeon.

Gordon was born in Owendale on September 24, 1944 to Arthur and Mary (Morley) Thomas. After graduating from Owendale High School in 1963, he was drafted into the United States Army and worked as a mechanic on base. After his honorable discharge, he worked and retired from Chevy Truck and Bus in Flint. Gordon enjoyed woodworking, John Deere Tractors, watching the farmers in fall harvest, eating at Big Boy in Bad Axe, going to the casino and mowing his lawn.

Gordon is survived by his sister, Joyce (Terry) King; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; 3 siblings: Glen Thomas, Kenneth Thomas and Sadie Kaserman; and special friend and neighbor, Bob Bieri.

The visitation and funeral will be Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 1pm.

Burial will be at Caseville Township Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to Helping Hand Thrift Store in Caseville.
