Grace V. Thomas, age 92, of Caseville died Wednesday evening, October 30, at Coutney Manory, Bad Axe.
She was born November 4, 1910, in Detroit, to the late Louis and Ella (Kreig) Rehdorf.
On September 24, 1932, she was united in marriage to Ross Thomas in Detroit. He preceded her in death in July of 1987.
Mrs. Thomas had been employed at J. L. Hudson in Detroit for 23 years, retiring in 1973. Shortly before retiring, she moved from Detroit to Lakeville Lake and in 2000 she came to Caseville to be nearer her daughter for health reasons.
She was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church, Detroit and a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Detroit.
Surviving are four children, Ross Thomas of Brunswick, GA, Dolores Wardrop of Lakeville Lake, Virginia (Russ) Langley of Caseville, and Harold (Pal) Thomas of Warren; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and her brother Louis Rehdorf of Mt Clemens. Preceding her in death are a son in law, Bill Wardrop and a brother, Arnold Rehdorf.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, November 2, at the Bossardet Chapel of the Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, Oxford with burial in Lakeville Cemetery, Lakeville
