Grace M. Weeks

Grace M. Weeks, age 89, of Sebewaing, went to see her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 28, 2016.

Grace was born September 25, 1926, in Fairhaven Twp. to the late William A. and Frances (Nimtz) Kuhl. She married John A. Weeks on February 18, 1943, in Ohio. He preceded her in death of June 19, 1982. Grace worked in the USA Schools lunch program. She is a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Mary Martha Guild, enjoyed playing cards, baking, camping, traveling, canning, knitting, watching the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Pistons. In her younger years she enjoyed golfing and mushroom hunting. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Grace was great at making everyone feel special.

Grace is survived by her children: Debra J. (Roger) Bloomfield of Owendale, Kevin W. Weeks of Sebewaing and Ashley B. (Craig) Liberacki of Auburn; grandchildren: Kim (Grant) Vermeersch, Heather Ball, Penny (Mike) Schroeder, Tina (Wes) Case, Stacie (Mike) Barringer, Brooke (Darin) McNabb, Zachary Weeks, Alex Weeks, Adam Liberacki, Cory Liberacki and Kate Liberacki; 14 great grandchildren; special great niece, Karyn Crabtree; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John A. Weeks; children: Yvonne G. Ball and Larry J. Weeks; sisters: Frances Brenner, Ruth Buehler and Helen Stoeckle; brothers: Floyd, Arnold, Silvan, William C., Donald, and Sonnie Kuhl.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 1, 2016, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 3-7pm.

The funeral service will be Monday, May 2, 2016, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will take place at the church cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church (General Fund).
