Greg John-George Ralston, age 31, of Caro passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011 at his home. He was born on November 28, 1979 in Bay City to Sherry (Buniack) Ralston and the late Gregory Ralston, Sr. Greg has always been a Tuscola County resident, and had attended Caro High School. On November 4, 2004 he and the former Wendy Fader were united in marriage in Bay City. Greg was employed as a CNA and worked for Compassionate Care in North Branch. He enjoyed cooking and BBQ for family gatherings, and collected anything that had to do with Spiderman. When he was able he liked fishing, camping, and traveling with his family. He is survived by his wife, Wendy; his children, Harley and Zoey at home; three step-children, Levi, D.J. and Allison; his mother, Sherry Ralston and Randy Broadworth of Caro; his sister, Heather (Jeff) Berlin of Caro; his grandmother, Pat Buniack of Caro; his in-laws, Lee (Rose) Fader of Caro; his nieces and nephews, especially Jeffery and Layla Berlin; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Christopher Ralston; and the remainder of his grandparents. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Smith, Caro United Methodist Church, officiating. Visitation will be held at the Collon Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greg Ralston family discretionary fund, c/o Wendy Ralston, 302 S. State St., Caro, MI 48723.
