Greg Ralston

Greg Ralston, age 52 years, of Caro, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2008 at Caro Community Hospital. He was born on November 21, 1955 in Detroit to the late John and Lucille (Tucker) Ralston. Greg and his family purchased the “Log Cabin” in Wisner on November 21, 1972. They later purchased Jerrys Party World in Caro in 1978 which became Ralstons Party Mart. He operated Ralstons Party Mart until his retirement in 2004. He loved playing cards, cooking, sitting around the bonfire, camping, and spending time with his family. He is survived by one son, one daughter and their spouses, Greg (Wendy) Ralston of Caro and Heather (Jeff) Berlin of Caro; six grandchildren, Levi, D.J., Allison, Zoey, Harley and Jeffery; four brothers, Richard Ralston, Andy (Trina) Ralston, John (Sue) Ralston and Scott Ralston; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Christopher Ralston. The funeral service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ronald Wigand officiating. Burial will be at Indianfields Township Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Ralston family discretionary fund.
