Gregory Scott Hood

Gregory Scott Hood of Vassar, age 54, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at his home. Greg was born January 20, 1968 in Saginaw, the son of the late Lewis Wade and Diana Ruth (Colf) Hood. He graduated from Vassar High School and went on to trade school to become an electrician. Greg enjoyed camping at Brimley State Park & Crystal Lake and liked to golf. He found enjoyment tinkering with RC cars & drones and loved watching old black and white shows. Greg was caring, funny, and you could always count on him. In his own words, he was "livin' the dream" and will be missed dearly. Greg leaves to cherish his memory his children, Jeremy Baker, Joshua Hood (fianc, Emily Matuszak), and Emilee Hood; grandson, Logan Wade; sister, Holly Jones; nephew & niece, Nick Jones and Ashlynn Jones; along with several friends. In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by his brother, Wade Lewis Hood. In keeping with Greg's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
