Gregory Paul Silisky, 50, of Caseville, died Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
Greg was born January 11, 1966 in Warren to Millie and the late Jerry Silisky. He attended Warren Schools. On July 29, 2000 he married Sally Brown at their home in Caseville.
Greg worked 17 years for Advance Door as a sales rep for commercial and residential windows and doors before working for Sally’s Abstract for four years. He was a member of the Caseville Eagles Club, Caseville Rod and Gun Club, and the president of Thumb’s Up RC Flying Club. He enjoyed his motorcycle, spending time on the water and outdoors, and all things remote control. Since 2002 he has lived an active and full life in spite of major heart problems.
He is survived by his wife Sally Brown; mother Millie Silisky of Warren; sister Sherri (Darren) Laakso; aunts Elaine Mysilicki and Irene Meyer; and nieces and nephews Crystal, Carlie, Michael, Nicholas, Tyler, Jesse, Sarah, Nicole, John, Mackayla, Crystal, Michael and Stephen. He was preceded in death by his father Jerry and uncle Leo Nechyba.
Funeral services will be at 12 Noon Saturday, February 13th at St. Roch-OLPH Catholic Church, Caseville with Fr. Robert Howe presiding. Visitation will be 3-8 Friday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville and one hour prior to services on Saturday in church.
