H. Gregory Meyer

H. Gregory Meyer, age 74, of Caseville died Sunday afternoon, October 5, at his home after a brief illness.
He was born March 1, 1934 in Toledo, OH, son of the late Herbert and Irene (Mathias) Meyer.
On July 7, 1956, he was united in marriage to Barbara Hunyadi in Detroit. Greg served in the US Army from 1956 to 1958.In 1972, they moved their family to Caseville.
He had been employed at Boroughs Corp until 1978, when he went to Redspot in Westland for 18 years retiring in 1996. After retiring, he assisted his wife, Barbara with her book store "The Garage" in Caseville.
He is. a past member of the Caseville Retirement Club, past Charter member of the Caseville Eagles, a member of the Caseville Rod and Gun Club and NRA.
He leaves his wife of 52 years, Barbara; a daughter, Michelle (Doug) Wiederhold of Elkton and their children, Heather Wiederhold MD, Holly (Dave) Webb and daughters, Angel and Alexis; Kory (Janelle) Wiederhold and daughter, Kylee and Heidi and Kyle of Elkton; a son, Jeff (Kim) Meyer of Belleville and their daughters, Amber and Ashley; and son, Mark (Lesa) Meyer of Caseville and their children, Andy Meyer and his daughter, Madison; Chris, Laura, Emil and Erin Engler and a brother, Brian Meyer of Caseville.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 8, at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton, with burial in St Roch Catholic Cemetery, Caseville.
