Hanlan F. Sears

Hanlon F. Sears, age 83, of Caseville, died Monday morning, April 7, at Scheurer Hospital, Pigeon.
He was born September 27, 1919, in River Rouge to the late Harry and Agnes (Campbell) Sears.
On October 18, 1941, he was united in marriage to Maxine R. Dick; she preceded him in death in 1971. On January 22, 1972, he married Almy (Wolford) Bouliew, she also preceded him in death in 1994.
Hanlon served in the US Army during WWII, after which he took a job with General Telephone in Harbor Beach They then moved to Royal Oak where he was employed at Consumer Power, as a construction clerk. After retiring in 1966, he then moved to Gaylord until 1998, when he moved to Caseville to be nearer to his son.
He was a member of the Disabled American Veteran’s, the Caseville Eagles, and life member of the Verona Lodge F & AM, Bad Axe.
Surviving are his son Gary (Sandra) Sears of Caseville; three grandchildren, Ronald (Sarah) of Madison Hts, Bryan (Koreena) of N. Hollywood, CA, and Renee (James) Lindsay of Valencia, CA; five great-grandchildren, Garrett, Thomas, Spencer, Amanda and Kaylee; one stepson, Dick (Judy) Bouliew of Hemlock; four step-grandchildren and 13 step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Joyce Sadler; a sister, Harrietta Riliegh and his brother, John Sears.
A memorial service will announced at a later date. Burial will be in the Silver Lake Cemetery, Wolverine.
