Harold "Buck" Hartley

Harold "Buck" Hartley of Cass City, age 58, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at McLaren-Bay Region in Bay City. Buck was born December 12, 1959 in Rantoul, Illinois, the son of the late Frank & Frances (Combs) Hartley. He was united in marriage with the former Alene Dyleski Boughan on August 21, 2003 at the Methodist Church in Sebewaing. He is survived by his wife, Alene Hartley of Cass City; four children and their spouses, Krista & D.J. Hartley of Cass City, Christine Puchtler of Cass City, Wendy & Michael Tomaselli of Salem, New Hampshire, Timothy & Joan Puchtler of Sunapee, New Hampshire; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Frank Hartley and his wife, Michelle, of Cottondale, Florida; one sister, Michal Hartley of Palm Harbor, Florida; one sister-in-law, Lorraine Hartley; two daughters-in-law, Monica Hartley of Sandusky and Nancy Puchtler of New Hampshire; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Buck was preceded in death by two sons, Bruce Hartley and Eric Puchtler; one brother, Jerry Hartley; and one sister, Iris Hill. In keeping with Buck's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Michele Hile officiating.
