Harold Lowe

Harold A. Lowe, Sr., age 81, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2007 at the Tuscola County Medical Facility in Caro. He was born June 2, 1925 in Detroit, the son of the late Jack Margarite (Ehley) Lowe. Harold was united in marriage to the former Dolores Schiable on October 31, 1949 in Detroit. She preceded him in death in February of 1995. Harold was employed with the City of East Pointe for 35 years. At the time of his retirement in 1979, he and his wife moved to the Mayville area to live. Before Harolds health began to fail him, he enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. Harold is survived by five children and their spouses, Joyce Bill Haag of Warren, Harold A. Denise Lowe, Jr. of Cass City, Sharon Art Shipman of Macomb, Gail Darius Gould of Caro, Dawn Kevin Woodrum of Mt. Morris; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Harold was preceded in death by one brother, Harvey Lowe.
