Harold Robert Rochefort

Harold Robert Rochefort, Jr., age 62, of Kilmanagh, passed away May 2, 2021 at U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor.

Harold was born in Detroit, on May 26, 1958, to Harold and Beverly (Kleinow) Rochefort, Sr. After graduating from Unionville-Sebewaing Area High School in 1976, he joined the United States Air Force for 3 years. After the Airforce he worked for Sebewaing Industries and Chrysler Automotive. He then went to school at M.I.A.T. College of Technology and received his certificate and worked for Boeing as an Aviation Assembler on large aircraft.

Harold was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching the U of M Football, Detroit Tigers, and Detroit Red Wings. He enjoyed getting in his jeep just to drive. He liked playing on the water with jet skis and hanging out with family and friends on "Harold" time.

Harold is survived by his children: Jason (Kim) Rochefort of Ypsilanti. Megan (Chris) Love of Kilmanagh and Marshall Rochefort stationed in Utah; step son, Cody Schenk of Millington; grandchildren: Damon Rochefort, Kai Rochefort, Ryann Rochefort, Axel and Harlo Schenk, J.P. Reed, Phisher Love, Michael Rochefort and Isaac Rochefort; sister, Terri (John) Backus of Bessemer; brother, Roger (Tracy) Rochefort of Marshall; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Harold's wishes are respected with cremation taking place. Cremation arrangements were handled by Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing.
