Harold Sharp

Harold Sharp, age 87 years, of Unionville, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at Select Specialty Hospital in Saginaw with his loving family present. He was born on December 29, 1919 in Bay City and moved to Akron as an infant. He lived much of his life in Tuscola County. On March 26, 1941 Harold was united in marriage with Jean Black in Gagetown. They lived on the family farm in Akron Township, Wisner Township and eventually moved to Unionville in 1993. Harold was a self-employed farmer and worked in the oil fields prior to working, until his retirement, at Bay City Steel Casting. He enjoyed gardening, lawn mowing, woodworking, and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a longtime member of the Wisner United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Jean Sharp; five children, Carol (Aurey) Frederick of Prescott Valley, Arizona, Shirley (Wesley) Volz of Unionville, Roger (Barbara) Sharp of Caro, Rosemarie (Lee) Morgan of Cass City and Holly Petiprin (fiance
