Harold Al Wolschlager

Harold Al Wolschlager, 80, of Bad Axe, died Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe.

Harold was born July 19, 1937 in Bad Axe to the late Michael and Irene (Kalpan) Wolschlager.  He learned carpentry from his father, then worked for Wolschlager Brothers Carpentry and also worked in carpentry with his brother Allison and brother-in-law Floyd Bouvrette.  He enjoyed all kinds of fishing and gardening.

He is survived by his son Robert of Bad Axe and step son David of Las Vegas; sister Margaret Bouvrette of Bad Axe; and brothers Thomas of Hemans, Anthony Rottenbucher of Florida, Allison (Donna) of Filion and Albert (Josephine) of Bad Axe.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Sandra, brothers Leonard, James, Michael, and Carl Wolschlager and sister Florence Byarski.

A memorial mass will be 11:00am Thursday, May 24 ^th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe with Fr. Robert Howe presiding.  Visitation will be an hour before mass in church.  Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.  Memorials may be made to the family.
