Hazel Richardson

Hazel Richardson, age 72, passed away suddenly at Mt. Clemens General Hospital on Saturday, September 26, 2006. She was born August 14, 1937 in Warren, the daughter of the late Howard C. & Margaret (Crews) Brown. Following Hazels graduation from high school, she was united in marriage with John C. Richardson on April 10, 1956 in Angola, Indiana. They made their home in the Ferndale area before moving to Mayville in 1968 and then to Caro in 1994. Following the death of her husband on March 17, 2003, Hazel moved to Mt. Clemens in 2006 to a senior complex. Hazel loved her family dearly and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed walking, being a friend to all she met, going to bible study and writing poetry. Surviving are three sons, one daughter and their spouses, John C. & Karen Richardson, Jr. of Mt. Clemens, Charles H. & Diane Richardson of Stanwood, Michigan, Kevin M. Richardson of Bad Axe, Rhonda & Brian Wright of Cass City; nine grandchildren; two great-grandsons; one brother and his wife, Henry & Inga Brown of Petaluma, California and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Hazel was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Robin; two sisters, Harriet McKenzie and Peggy Miller, and one brother, James Buchanan.
