Hazel E. Weisenberg, age 100, of Sebewaing, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 at Vadavilla AFC Home in Unionville.
Hazel was born August 22, 1914 in Sebewaing, the daughter of the late William and Mary (Woldt) Errer. She married Russell S. Weisenberg on June 27, 1931 in Detroit. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2001. She enjoyed quilting, making crafts and gardening. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Hazel is survived by her son, Russell (Deborah) Weisenberg; 4 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Russell; daughter, Audrey (Wilbert) Melvin, and many brothers and sisters.
The funeral service will take place Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 11am.
Burial will take place privately at Floral Gardens Cemetery in Bay City.
Memorial donations may be given to Vadavilla AFC Home.
