Heidi Elizabeth Reynero

Heidi Elizabeth Reynero of Caro, age 55, passed away at home quietly in her sleep on Friday, June 13, 2025. She was born on November 5, 1969 in Saginaw, the daughter of Peter and Lanna Fay (Kato) Castillo. Heidi was happily married to Alfredo Torrez Reynero, Sr. until her death for thirty-eight years. They have three sons together, Alfredo Torrez Reynero, Jr., Cristobal Martino Reynero, Sr. and Alyssa Wark, mother of Penelope and Cris, Jr., and Cashis Sy and wife Amber Reynero.

In addition to her husband and children, Heidi was blessed to have nine surviving grandchildren Aaliyah Reynero, Alaina Reynero, Ayden Reynero, Colton Reynero, Madilynn Reynero, Penelope Rose Reynero, Cristobal Martino Reynero, Jr., Aubriella Rose Schotter, Dominick Royce Torrez Reynero. She is also survived by siblings Scott and wife, Cheryl Praay, Donald and Mitchell Johnson, and Shelly and husband, Ken Midcalf. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lanna Fay Castillo and grandson, Evander Ace Reynero.

Heidi cherished time with her family and friends above all else. She found joy in the simple pleasures—relaxing in her makeup room, listening to music, and painting her nails. A true beach lover at heart, Heidi was drawn to sunshine, sand, and all things pink. She had a talent for thrifting and a gift for conversation, always lighting up the room with her warmth and laughter. Heidi’s love and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Indianfields Township Park in Caro. The service will begin at 12:00 p.m., with a meal to follow to continue celebrating Heidi’s life. In honor of her vibrant spirit and love of the color, the family kindly asks everyone to wear pink.
