Helen Darlene Parsons

Helen Darlene Parsons of Sterling Heights, age 85, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at her home. Darlene was born November 4, 1937 in Detroit, the daughter of the late Jesse and Helen Parsons. She had been employed as a timekeeper at General Motors and had been a pin-up girl for the G.M. magazine. Darlene always lived near a Baptist church where she attended services regularly and enjoyed riding her bike. She also enjoyed Mackinaw Island, shopping, and a house full of pretties. She enjoyed being a queen, and was always dressed to the nines. She was very much loved by her friends and was an adopted part of the Tracy and Jeff Frent family; Ashley Allison and Rachel Rood (Jason); and the Amy and Saverio Ward family. Funeral services will be held at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be later that day at White Chapel Memorial Park in Troy.
