Helen Ilene Perria

Helen Ilene Perria of Caro, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Covenant Health Care - Cooper in Saginaw. Helen was born August 26, 1932 in Barryton, the daughter of the late Leroy A. and Josephine M. (Davis) Horning. She worked in the laundry department at St. Joseph Hospital in Pontiac. Helen had a deep love for her family and enjoyed spending time with them and spoiling her children's dogs with treats. She loved her church and most recently enjoyed watching her son's church in Lake Orion. Helen is survived by three children and their spouses, Gary & Fay Perria of Attica, Paul & Ginger Perria of Auburn Hills, Lisa & Tim Staley of Pontiac; grandchildren and spouses, Michelle & Terry Fulton, Christopher & Natalie Perria, Bryan & Megan Perria, Jacob & Colleen Perria, Adam Perria, Mark Perria, Kevin Maybee, Sierra Maybee, and Crystal Maybee; and special friends, Billie Williams and Cecilia Bender. In addition to her parents and husband, Edward Perria, Helen was preceded in death by her son, David Leroy Perria; one brother, Robert Horning; and special friend, Edwin Graber. Funeral services will be held at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 with Elders Sandra Dorman and Jerry Bernhardt of the Community of Christ Church in Caro officiating. Burial will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery in Pontiac on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.
