Helen W. Stoeckle, 92 of Sebewaing, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at her daughter's home in Pigeon.
She was born in Fairhaven Township on November 9, 1923 and was the daughter of William A. and Frances (Nimtz) Kuhl. On January 7, 1950 she was united in marriage to Edward H. Stoeckle, who preceded her in death on August 21, 1988.
Helen was a homemaker throughout her lifetime. She had attended beauty school and was a beautician for many years. She enjoyed embroidery as well as making baby quilts.
Helen was a faithful, lifetime member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Kilmanagh.
Her survivors include five children: Sheila Yackle of Pigeon, Kendall (Debra) Stoeckle of Sebewaing, Brent (Cathy) Stoeckle of Sebewaing, Mark (Carol) Stoeckle of Cass City, and Thomas (Janice) Stoeckle of Cass City; grandchildren: Kyle (Victoria) Yackle, Kirk Yackle, John Stoeckle, Joseph (Lisa Dunn) Stoeckle, Karla (Tim) Gotham, Kathryn Stoeckle, Jeremy (Stacey) Haag, Nick (Sarah) Haag, Derek (Kirstin) Stoeckle, Adam Stoeckle, Andrew (Laura) Stoeckle, Angela (Joseph) Lounsbury, and Ashleigh Stoeckle; great-grandchildren: Ethan and Allison Yackle; Morgan Gotham; William, Samuel, and Edward Stoeckle; RosaMae and Benjamin Lounsbury; Matthew, Mikayla, Dominic, and Nichole Haag; and Michael and Alex Nothelfer; sister, Grace Weeks of Sebewaing; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Myra Ann; grandson Aaron Stoeckle; son-in-law Jim Yackle; sisters, Frances Brenner and Ruth Buehler; and brothers, Floyd, Arnold, Silvan, William C., Donald, and Sonnie Kuhl.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Kilmanagh, with Rev. Lee Wenskay officiating. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery, Sebewaing.
