Howard Conely

Howard Conely of Caro, age 91, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020. Howard was born June 20, 1928 in Sandusky, the son of the late Earl Frank Conely and Gertrude Rosealtha Hammond. Howard was united in marriage with the late Geraldine Marion VanHorn on June 1, 1951 on Silvernail Road in Kingston Township. He was a loving husband and father. Howard worked on the farm and at General Motors. He enjoyed woodworking and made shelves and clocks with his scroll saw. He was a member of the Caro Church of the Nazarene. Howard is survived by five children and their spouses, Lynda & George Strom of Lake, Tim Conely of Caro, Melvin Conely of Bridgeport, Mark and Wendy Conely of Caro, Holly Bedore of Caro; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by four siblings. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the Caro Church of the Nazarene with Rev.
