Howard C. Schemke

Howard C. Schemke, age 50, of Port Austin and Bad Axe passed away Sunday evening, November 9, at McLaren Bay Region after a short illness.

He was born November 3, 1964, in Charlevoix to Patricia (Buchanan) Schemke and the late Howard I. Schemke.

Howard enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, BBQ’s, cook outs and having many gatherings for campfires and music. He loved his many cats and dogs, whether they were playing or just relaxing. Most of all, he loved being with his wife, children, grandsons, family and friends.

Surviving are his wife of ten years, Leslie; children, Jeremy (Angel) Schemke and Amamda Schemke; grandsons, Christopher, Jacob, Jayden, Justiz and Jeremy Junior; sisters, Dawn, Gail, Janie, Tammy, Janice and Anna; brothers, Gary, Jimmy, Kenny and Tony. Many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Preceding him in death, were a sister, Kathy Buchanan and mother-in-law, Linda Mayer.
