Alecia C. Seaton, age 27, stationed with the U.S. Navy in San Diego, California, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 13, 2013 as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Julian, California. She was born July 15, 1986 in Melrose Park, Illinois, the daughter of Helene (Dennis) Seaton and Gregory Seaton. Alecia enjoyed anything to do with computers, "hanging out" with friends, traveling, and loved life in general. She is survived by her mother, Helene Seaton of Caro; her father, Gregory (Mitzi) Seaton of Lexington, Tennessee, two sisters, Stephanie (Nicholas) Herman of Caro, and Magen Seaton of Flint; one brother, Christopher Seaton of Chicago, Illinois; three nephews, Johnathan and Jaxen Herman, and Elias Ernst; her grandfather, John Dennis; her grandmother, Dorothy Seaton; three aunts, Laura (Kurt) Koenig and Monica (Jerry) Hammer, all of Chicago, Illinois, Pamela Duncan of Lexington, Kentucky; two uncles, Timothy (Susan) Novak of Chicago, Illinois and Gregory (Tracy) Dennis of Caro; her beloved companion, Sgt. Joshua Downs, USMC. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 25, 2013 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Navy Chaplain Dennis Kucharczyk officiating. In keeping with Alecia's wishes, cremation will follow the service.
