Ida M. Fiebig

Ida M. Fiebig went to be with her Lord on Friday, January 7, 2011 at Courtney Manor, Bad Axe, where she had been a resident for the past 2 ½ years. Ida was 92 years old. Ida was bron on November 2, 1918. Her parents were William and Emma (Kunitzer) Sendtko. Ida married Walter H. Fiebig on November 27, 1948 in Saginaw with a reception held at Zenders of Frankenmuth. Their marriage was blessed with two sons, Kenneth W. Fiebig and Donald (Kathy) Fiebig, all of Sebewaing. She farmed with her husband Walter and sons, until Walter's death on April 12, 2000. She enjoyed landscaping and gardening and was very artistic in painting designs on outside buildings and her favorite pet rocks. She had the Lord in her life every day and praised Him for all her blessings.

She is survived by her sons; Kenneth W. Fiebig of Sebewaing, Donald and Kathy Fiebig of Sebewaing. Grandchildren; Kourtney and Mathew Quinn, Kyle and Stephanie Fiebig, Jessica and William Darke. Great-grandchildren; Aaden, Anikka, Abigail, Avery Quinn, Victoria Fiebig, Evelyn and William Darke. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Walter H. Fiebig, brother William Sendtko, Sister Martha (Sendtko) Koch, sister Esther Sendtko, and brother Daniel Sedentko.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 9, 2011 from 2-9pm at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home, Sebewaing.

Funeral services will be Monday, January 10, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Additional visiting will begin at the Church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

A private burial will take place immediately following the service at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
