Isabel G. Leipprandt

Isabel G. Leipprandt, 94 of Pigeon, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe.

Born in Caseville, she was the daughter of Robert W. and Maida N. (Musselman) Frank. On June 7, 1941 she was united in marriage with Waldo Leipprandt in Caseville. He preceded her in death in 1967.

Isabel was a member of Scheurer Hospital Auxiliary and the Farm Bureau. She enjoyed gardening and quilting, and was a member of the quilt guild. She was a long time active member of First United Methodist Church in Pigeon.

She is survived by two daughters, Helen (David) Pound of Homewood, Illinois and Karen (Wayne) Moss of Sturgis; grandchildren, John and Linh-Ha Pound and Linda and Domenick Luvera; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Dora and brothers, R. Roy Frank and Walter Frank.

The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Meyersieck-Bussema Funeral Home, Pigeon, with Rev. Cindy Gibbs, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Private burial will be in Caseville Township Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Scheurer Hospital, or Pigeon District Library.
