Ivan John Aldrich, 64, of Owendale, died Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon.
Ivan was born July 29, 1953 in Detroit to the late Lloyd and Lillian (Bullard) Aldrich. He graduated from Redford High School. His first wife Doris died in 1987. He then married Janice Lockard on July 15, 1988. In 1992 he moved from Detroit to Elkton, then later Owendale. He worked a Talco Industries in Bad Axe before going on a medical retirement in 2001. He enjoyed watching television wrestling, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Janice; daughters Lea of Owendale and Amy of Pigeon; step-children Crystal, Carrie and Paul; grandchildren Bram and Dorn; brothers Jonathan (Connie) Putnam of Warren, Lloyd (Judy) and Craig (Donna) Aldrich, both of Fowlerville; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Lillian Mrozek.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 2nd at the Pigeon River Mennonite Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-8 Tuesday at the Pigeon River Mennonite Church and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family.
